I 100% recommend this book to any of my fellow Fantasy book lovers. Firstly, I could feel the feminism seeping through this book and right from the start and it is truly inspiring. I love this new perspective on one of my favourite fairy tales and it brought a new light to my childhood. I couldn't stop thinking about this book for days after I finished it. I am already anticipating re-reading this book. I highly recommend this retelling to any lovers of The Hazel Wood, From Blood and Ash and The Red Queen series. I can't wait to read more of this authors work! It is an easy read and it wasn't hard for me to fall head first into this book and finish it within a day. This brought to life my enemies to lovers, fantasy, retelling, dreams to life. I could totally see this as a Movie adaptation and i think this book is good for all ages, especially those of you who want a blast from the past.
