The shattered apple on the front cover already says a lot; it reminds me of Snow White so its foreboding what's going to happen. The sense of death and mystery surrounds the atmosphere. The blurb is incredible its so detailed yet it doesn't ruin the plot at all! The adjectives used to describe Sophie create a really detailed image of how she looks. The plot is about monarchy and its really interesting because we see so many books about royalty however this book is different and stands out. Not only does the cover draw you in it forebodes the dark plot to this story. Especially during this time (halloween), this book is perfect its has a gruesome and dark plot which draws in e=any reader. This book is appropriate for all genres!
