I really enjoyed reading this book. This is the first ever fairy-tale retell I have read and I will definitely be reading more books written by Jennifer Donnelly as I really liked this book. The storyline kept be engaged throughout and I couldn't wait to find out what happened next in the story. I liked the small chapters too, as I felt it made the story flow better. I absolutely loved the front cover of the book and this was one of the reasons my attention was drawn to the book at first. I was worried it would just be a copycat version of the traditional tale of Snow White but I am pleased to say it is not. I look forward to recommending this book to friends and family members and hopefully they will enjoy it as much as I did.
