This book is very interesting and different from what I expected I loved this book a lot. It was a great description of how women in power are perceived and a great feminist retelling of a common, well known story. it was absolutely amazing, and it's great storytelling. I only got to read the preview, but it was many chapters, and the character building is perfect. They feel very real, as they are complicated and you go back and forth between liking and not liking them, just as real humans come across. It uses very descriptive language, which is perfect for me as I have issues with visualising, but was still able to visualise this. The author has a very unique and engaging writing style that seems to suck you into the story, as if you’re actually there with the characters. Overall a great read that I thoroughly enjoyed and would love to continue.
