Absolutely brilliant retelling of Snow White.
This one does not follow the original telling of Snow White. It has twists and turns and unpredictable situations. There are some parts that originate from the original story but it has its own unique take on it.
The characters are very relatable and the evil queen to me was not that evil and at the end I kind of felt a bit sorry for her. There is another kind of evil in this story which I found refreshing.
The book has nice short chapters so you can easily stop at a chapter if you need to. The story flowed fluidly throughout the book. If I had the chance to I would of devoured the book in a few day’s. It captivates your attention that much you don’t want to put it down.
It is an adult retelling. I wouldn’t really read this book to my children as they are a bit too young but it would be great for them to read when they are older. I will be recommending this book to everyone
