After reading and adoring Step Sister by Jennifer Donnelly, I had very high expectations for Poisoned and I'm delighted to say it was just as brilliant as Donnelly's first twisted fairy tale novel.
The author has a way of retelling a tale that's been told a thousand times in a new, unique and thrilling manner. I hope Jennifer Donnelly has many more adaptions planned as I would love to read more of these unique fairytales.
Poisoned has a beautiful cover to match Step Sister and has a story just as creative and imaginative. I was hooked on Poisoned from the very beginning and I couldn't wait to find out how the story would develop.
