I absolutely love every single book that Jennifer Donnelly has ever written and Poisoned was no exception.
I read so many fairy tale retellings that I find them difficult to enjoy these days since none of them feel very original, however this was not the case with Poisoned. It was so different to the many other Snow White retellings that I have read and I really loved how dark and magical it was.
Jennifer Donnelly’s writing flows so incredibly well in this book and the descriptions were just amazing. I also loved how the characters were portrayed.
The cover is absolutely beautiful and I like how it matches the cover for Stepsister!
I shall definitely be rereading Poisoned at some point because I really want to experience this amazing book again!
