I really enjoy reading fairy tale retellings and I was not disappointed with this book.
I have read step sisters and I thoroughly loved it so I ended up getting this book to try it out and I was not dissatisfied with this.
I really like the short chapters as it is so handy to read when on the move or short of time ( especially if you do not like stopping half way through a chapter )
It is a great retelling of a classic with a twist, which makes it so much more interesting . I loved following the journey of Sophie in the search for her heart and all the wicked and wonderful characters she meets along the way. I think she is a great character and leaves a strong message to believe in yourself and to not give up .
The cover of the book is amazing and just fits so well which is another reason I love it so much .
Overall it’s a fantastic read and if you loved fairy tales retellings you should definitely check it out .
