I enjoyed the story as of now, there are multiple characters that I can not tell how they will become as well as the Evil Queen who seems more of an icon for strong women. The writing style was very discriptive which I enjoy though it is slightly wordy though I could get used to it. There is symbolism relating to the original story which I enjoyed finding this early in the book. The first few chapters give the book a lot of opportunities for where the story could go without giving anything away. I look forward to seeing how this story will go and to learn more about the characters, there are many characters who have an opportunity to grow so I'm excited to see how they end up. Currently my favourite genre is fairytale retelling though the dark undertones of this story are seldom seen which I far prefer to the gentle romance featured in other stories, I will definitely look to continue this book in the future.
