So super disappointed with this story. I was hoping it would be an amazing follow up to Jennifer's previous book Stepsister.
This is a story about Snow White or Sophia in this case, and what would have happened if the huntsman HAD actually managed to cut her heart out.
The huntsman is successful and gives Sophia's heart to her evil stepmother, leaving a dying Sophia in the woods. However seven brothers find her and take her back to their cottage to try and save her life. One brother replaces her heart with a clockwork construction, which sends her emotions doolally! Anyway Sophia decides that she wants her real heart back so ventures out on a treacherous journey to retrieve what once belonged to her.
Found this particular story boring, although things were progressing, it was all happening in a bit of a jolly fashion. You knew that it everyone would eventually get their happy ever after.
