Great cover and a feminist retelling? I’m in! Forget the fairytale you know, this isn’t all magic, dwarves and singing animals. This is creepy and dark and I like it! I enjoyed what I read and think it would be my type of read. However I think it would take me a while to get into it fully as I struggled to keep up with the pace to know whose point of view I was reading from, it felt like it skipped from on looker, to the huntsman, to the princess. To jump in with an action packed scene though was a great way of grabbing your attention and leave you wanting more. As there were things that I like and things I wasn’t sure off I went for a middle of the road rating but feel if I read more than this would go up.
