What seems to be a Snow White retelling of sorts is an easy day to read novel. What’s really likeable about this book is that it is easy to read, free flowing, and captivating from the first words inside of the prologue. The prologue draws you in with a strong turn the page scene of a killing. I found that the words are easy to pick up and the scenes come naturally through my mind into a movie. Also I like how the prologue has addressed the reader to further being you into the novel ad though you the reader are the one standing in the forest leaning over the girl with the knife in your hand instead of the hunter.

The title and cover gives you a glimpse into what the plot and characters could very well get up to. Which intrigued me to venture further into the book itself. And I have not been disappointed with what I have read in front of me. I quickly soaked this novel up in one sitting.
