From the prologue this is a really gripping story. Immersive and gripping in its writing, a really well thought-out story is being presented from the beginning. Getting straight into the story and enticing the reader from the get go. The writing is really well done, and keeps things interesting throughout as you move throughout the beginning chapters - and I have no doubt that the same feelings will be evident throughout the rest of the book.
I like the title, and the book art. It sets up an expectation for the story and what you think it is going to be about. It's not too in your face, but sets a precedent for the fantasy tale and the fairytale themes that are present throughout.
This is a book that I will definitely look forwards to reading when it is out and available to buy, and will want to continue reading to see where it is that the story takes the reader.
