Fairytale retellings are always nice to read and it was amazing to read and explore strong this much of the story. The characters are nothing like disney, which makes it perfect for older readers as well as younger adults and is good to see a non-stereotypical princess who explores the world outside of her comfort zone.
It was difficult to put the book down and I hardly got sleep reading it, but it was worth it 😂 The characters were well developed. There weren't any charcters who weren't interesting.The ending did start to feel a little rushed though because of the fast paced writing and telling.
I love how this author explores storng female leads and how well she develops them! I feel like her books give me a sense of coming home. Exploring an unseen mystery world.
