I was so excited to finally get my hands on this book! Recently I've been loving fairy tale retellings and a more sinister, gritty story to the stories we once loved as kid.
This dark and twisted revisited and revised story on Snow white focuses on sophie, who is found in the woods lifeless when she is taken in by seven mysterious men who found her there lying in the middle of the woods.Sophie along with the seven mysterious men fight together to win her heart back that was stolen from her by a huntsman who left her for dead. The seven mysterious men fashion her a clockwork heart until she get's her own back and along the way she gains more allies and animal friends along her journey.
I really enjoyed this book overall though I found it to be a little slower paced at time which, if you have the time to really enjoy this book, you won't mind too much! I'd really recommend this to fans of to kill a kingdom!
