This book was absolutely incredible. The main character, Sophie, is it sweet, caring, forgiving, and complete the opposite of her stepmother, Queen Adelaide. The queen is harsh, unpleasant, and severely cruel. She would rather a living creature be injured or killed than give it a second chance. Sophie has no idea what is about to become of her future. she is about to be made queen, and Adelaide does not think she is ready. Adelaide said she is irresponsible, weak, careless, unwise, and much more. Sophie, however knows that she is strong and is about to show her stepmother how very wrong she is about her. The plot of the story is very well thought out, and I was intrigued the whole way through. in some ways I relate to Sophie, but in someways I also relate to Adelaide. The Huntsman, however I relate to you very much. He is controlled by Adelaide, and he has no say in what he must to do. I definitely recommend this book if you want something intense. There are many surprises throughout it, and I think you would enjoy it a lot.
