This is an amazing book for starters the ending leaves it open to other books without giving anything away it keeps you guessing. The start of the book was quite interesting as I usually the first few chapters of books are a make or break and this was defiantly a make situation. The main character (whose name is Sophie) was a change in character style because where a lot of the characters in other books when thrown in to different or complicated situation know exactly how to act, which is not realistic whereas Sophie had to learn and as the book progressed her character developed into a strong independent women .
The book then goes on to explaining why the villain is the way they are, and which helps understand and it lets you sympathies with the villain as there can never be a villain without a sad back story .
This is a fantastic re-write of a classic fairy tale, I would especially suggest it to those that want to get into a different style of book or have fallen out of reading as it reminded me why I love a good story .
