The story starts off with an introduction to the huntsman and the sophie - the princess to a great kingdom - is introduced. It is the classic Snow White book we all grew up with but with a thrilling twist!
Sophie has grown up with her evil stepmother slowly beating out the kindness of her stepdaughter one day at a time until she is finally done with her kindred and selflessness. So sophie gets taken out to the woods to have her heart cut out - unbeknownst to her - however ends up with 7 men in the woods who make her a mechanical heart. This then starts the friendship with the men and she grows in strength and plans to take her kingdom back and end her stepmother.
The start of the book was good and was very well written out. The ending was amazing and bought the whole book together however the in between was not the best. It was slow and sometimes the description was just too long however the ending really bought it all together.
