Jennifer Donnelly is a queen of fantasy fairytale retellings! I am super excited to experience her reimagining of Snow White. From the first line, I can tell that this will be just as beautifully thought through and written as Stepsister was. I absolutely love a twist on a old fairy tale or just a modernised version. I can just imagine myself curled up on the sofa with a cosy blanket and a hot chocolate on a crisp autumn evening reading this book. It sounds intriguing and has me hooked regardless of me knowing how the real fairy tale story goes. This magical tale retells the fairy tale of Snow White, but with so much more added. The language used is descriptive and sets the tale that is to come.
Although you think you know the story you want to read on and discover the extra depth added to this classic story. I’ve read the first book from this author and I loved it so much!! This book promises to be as good as the one i’ve read. I’m so excited to read it!!
