i am usually skeptical of retellings as they are usually something I don't really enjoy but there was something about this book that made me want to give it a shot and I'm very glad I did.
this was a great retelling with a dark twist (dark twists are the best in retellings). the cover is absolutely gorgeous and I think it may have been what intrigued me to pick it up.
if anyone is a fan of retellings or wants to start getting into them I highly recommend this book.
this book has made me want to try more retellings which is something considering I usually don't reach for them.
