Remember me

The front cover interested me, it’s simplistic but it also creates loads of questions. I loved it. I haven’t read a book by charity normal before. I like that it starts in 1994 then moves to 2019, I like the years in particular because I was born in the 90s so Its a year I can relate to and remember. This story is descriptive, which is good it gives you a mental vision of what things look like, as a reader who pictures everything they read this is very helpful. I can relate to this story as Emily’s father suffered Alzheimer’s which is an illness which my grandmother had, it’s nice to see it in books, I feel some illnesses don’t get much mention in stories. Emily is a mother with a 22 year old when she receives a phonecall to tell her that her dad has Alzheimer’s she reluctantly travelled miles to be there for her dad. It really hit Emily when she got home how bad it was when she noticed post it notes on everything! This story is an easy to read and the characters are really likeable. I can’t wait to find out what happens next. It’s a book I would love to finish
