I wasn't sure what to expect from the first pages of this but it definitely has me wanting to read on.
New Zealand is one of my favourite places so part of the lure of this book for me is the hope for more place descriptions. Aside from that I think the sadness of having to come to terms with a relative's Alzheimer's diagnosis is something most of us can relate to these days.
Therefore at this point it is more the settings and characters that intrigue me than the plot itself which is still in very early stages. The writing style is easy and relatively well paced however and the premise sounds good, therefore definitely something I'd be interested to continue reading.
