Traveling from London to New Zealand and her family home which has deteriorated as her father's health has, Emily finds that she has much to contend with. Memories of her childhood and the distance between herself and her father all come together as she starts to find out that things from the past were not a they may have seemed. Drawn into the plot and the relationships between the characters it is a mystery that draws you in wanting to find out the answers.
