From the start this book gripped me, having just lost my own Father I was so moved by this story not that mine gave me an envelope which would change everything. I love they way the surroundings are described and I could picture it all. The knowledge that something huge for the family and the community was to come made me want to read more. Not an author I know but will add to my list to explore more books as really like this one.
