The cover of this book was a nice visual but it was the blurb that drew me to wanting to read more of the book. Clarity Norman is a new author to me so I didn’t know what to expect with her writing. From the first word, I was committed to reading. I could easily imagine the scenes and how the characters looked to me in my head. That mystery element within the first chapter piped my interest even more. Even though at different times of life, I resonated with Emily when it came to her dad having Alzheimer's. Instantly my heart went out for her, understanding the questioning on what to do and the best thing for the family member. I enjoyed the little snippets of the past, they tied in well with the story in gaining more knowledge and understanding of who the relationships are as they are now. I would love to be able to continue reading this book. Finding out how Emily navigates the challenges with her dad and what do I do for the best. Seeing if and what answers there are for the missing Leah as well as what is within that envelope.
