This sounds like a pretty typical domestic drama/thriller and there are so many of those around at the moment I'm not sure there's enough in the premise to make this really capture the attention - and regardless of how good the rest of the book is the premise and blurb is the first thing most readers would read and I'm not sure this has enough oomph to really make this sound like something different or better than all the others.
