I really enjoyed the last book i read by Charity Norman and the opening of her latest is just as intriguing. Within a few chapters the reader is already aware of a fractious relationship between Emily and her father, ad that her two siblings appear unwilling to take any responsibility for helping their father. What could he have done is the past to have all three of his children so reluctant to help him when his health is failing.
The main story is the disappearance of Leah Parata, but i think there will be much in the incidental plots to keep the reader enthralled.
I really like the understated cover.
