I’m not sure if I liked this book. The story was okay but it didn’t intrigue me as much as other mysteries normally do. I would not recommend it. The ending was a bit predicatable. I left the book unread ok so many occasions. Would like to see more from this author but this one was not my favourite. The book cover was not appealing either - it could have been done much better. The story draws you in at certain moments but then becomes stale again. I liked that it was set in New Zealand it’s always nice to read about different countries which I don’t know much abbot. Again like I said the book was a bit predictable, I liked the characters and the story could have been better. I might read more novels from the author to see how her writing is. The writing itself is good and I learnt some new words which is was the only positive thing I can say at the moment.
