This is the second book I have read by this author and I have loved them both.
Mental illness is always a hard topic and hard to discuss and do justice.
I love how the author was not afraid to make the characters raw and open. And how she challenged all the hard things that happens during the end of life of a mental illness.
Not only did this do dementia but it also talked about other mental illness.
The way the story unfolded and it became clear that Leah and felix had been together was just loved and so touching and fitting for such a story.
I loved how everyone decided to leave them together where they had gone to die. It seemed the right and fitting ending.
I would always want to read this authors books and I think I will be searching out the other books she has written previously.
