I have decided not to read the blurb of books and just go with whether I think I will like it or not!
So this one was a cover made me read it!
This was emotional and a hard read in some parts but was also a beautiful book. I really felt for Emily and loved her character and how much she had to go through, especially with her siblings.
I had an inkling about what happened to Leah but the description and beauty of the story really brought it to life.
I read a Charity Norman book years ago but nothing recently but this beautiful story would definitely make me pick up more of her books.
Knocked a star off as took me a while to get into it, started off well, then I found I lost where it was going but then got back into it around half way.
Would recommend this book, a lovely, heartbreaking story.
Be prepared to feel lots of emotions!
