This book is beautifully written and manages to emotionally explore the relationship between the main character Emily and her father Felix, alongside exploring the mystery of the missing girl. It also manages very well to explore memory loss and the consequences of this and the impact on not only the individual but those around them.
From the very first page I instantly felt emotionally attached to the characters which were very well written and great descriptions given of the environments and scenery so I could easily imagine I was there.
The author does a brilliant job of making the story flow and keeping you wanting to turn each page. I didn't want to put the book down! I imagined twists and turns but never thought the story would keep me hanging on so much. I would love to read more books by this author. I would recommend book to others.
