I had a feeling I knew what direction the book was taking just from reading the preview! However I was vey wrong in my thinking!
The book has twists and turns and some big bombshells along the way, you really get a sense of each character and feel as though you know them and feel what they are going through! Charity Norman has really captured and portrayed extremely well what life can be like dealing with Alzheimer’s and the hard decisions upon family members! The book describe the New Zealand country so well you can vividly picture the scene and how the time frames and characters connect so well leaves you feel invested and emerges in the characters worlds.
The book really is worth the read and the ending really is an unexpected twist. Charity Norman is a writer I hadn’t heard about until now but I am so glad I came across her and her books, I wouldn’t hesitate to give her other books a read, especially if they are as good as this!
