I like the idea of a seventy nine year old character that is feeling invisible in life but being able to slow down and notice the small everyday moments that people miss as they are too busy day to day.
The depiction of Missy's day to day passing of time alone, her children long gone and left with her memories is suddenly shaken up on the meeting of two women in a park which gives her a new lease of life.
I am looking forward to where the author takes the characters in the novel and I'm not sure what to expect which makes this an enticing read.
