I liked what I'd read from the excerpt as the main character reminded me of my nan, a likeable, warm woman. The blurb gives you enough information that you're intrigued by the story but not give too much away about what will happen deeper into the story. The cover is beautiful and fits with the vibes of the story so far from the excerpt.
