The story introduces an old women living on her own. Her son lives far away and she doesn't have much contact with her daughter. Her husband has died i think. She attends a fish stun at her local park after hearing a young mum talk to her son about going. There she meets a friendly women but she is too scared to go to coffee with her. The character seems shy and afraid and with not much going on in her life anymore. I am interested in reading more.
