To me it just doesn’t exude excitement. I am not captivated by the character portrayed in the blurb. Perhaps it’s the fact that the pandemic has made life a little monotonous and I’d prefer to read something that has a bit more about it. The cover just seems a little plain. Unfortunately I don’t think I would buy this book if I saw it in a shop
