A sombre start, telling of a lonely lady who seems to want company, but is anxious not to be a burden and trust herself onto people, despite the fact that they seem to want to include her. I feel this is the story of so many people, alone when their family leave home and their spouse passes away.
Due to the title of the book I am hopeful that the mood may swing to a more uplifting feel. Looking forward to reading more.
