I really enjoyed the opening chapters of this book. Missy is quickly drawn as an interesting character, with a long life lived already I was intrigued to learn more about the distant, hopeful relationships with her son and daughter and really keen to see how she might emerge from her evident loneliness into a new chapter of life.
