I really liked the opening chapters of this book. The main character Missy is a widow whose children are grown up so she lives alone. I thought the author portrayed Missy's solitary life brilliantly. I could feel her emptiness she was experiencing from her son and grandson emigrating to Australia.
I would love to read the whole book to see what happens to Missy.
