What happened on that afternoon with Mel?!? I love the constant allusion to it with the explanation yet to be given. This first look has really touched a nerve with me - throughout lockdown I have become closer to many neighbours, several of whom are older and live alone. Reading these first few chapters has made me wonder how often they don’t speak to people from one day to the next. I really want to know Missy’s story from the flashback to her childhood to her recent days. I would be thrilled to receive it!
