Millicent (Missy) comes across as an elderly standoffish woman; her family aren't around and she spends her days observing others which jolt her own memories of earlier times. Why is she alone? Where are all her friends? I must admit I'd like to get to know Missy more as I think she's clearly multi-layered and like an onion, needs to shed a few layers...
