While the blurb gives very little away about what to expect from this book in terms of plot, the front cover is attractive enough and the first impression promising enough for me to want to read it. I love that it centres on an older woman's experiences (I personally can only name a handful that do that) and I love that it tackles issues such as loneliness which are affecting so many people, elderly and not, especially at the moment. What's more, it's the kind of book I could lend to my grandma and my mum, which would be lovely for us to share.
