I really enjoyed the first few chapters of this book and am intrigued to find out what happened ‘that afternoon’.
This feels like a read to curl up with on the sofa and will Missy on to accept the kindness of strangers that she doesn’t feel worthy of.
I loved this quote... “children are so beautiful, flawless and shiny, like a confer newly out of its shell. Such a shame they all grow up to be abominable adults.
I think this will be a touching, uplifting book with plenty of humour thrown in and I would love to carry on reading it.
