I settled down with the book for the evening and after a couple of chapters, I knew I wasn't going to be able to stop reading until I was done. I had a few expectations from the book, but one thing I didn't expect was for me to sob like a baby for the last 40 or so pages. I loved all of the characters and despite all of them having a multitude of flaws, we saw them all grow as the story progressed and they were all characters that you grew to love. Missy especially was a character that you saw go through judgemental opinions and being quite rude on occasion, to where she accepted everything in her life and learnt that her life wasn't as bad as she first thought. The book was well written and thought out, with fully fleshed out characters. The experience Missy has with other people in the park and around town is very true to life and didnt feel at all unbelievable for someone to have in their own personal life.
