This was such a heartwarming and touching story of a 79 year old lady and finding her happiness again.

Missy lives on her own and sticks to the same routine. She misses her family and her old life, she is lonely. That is until she meets two very different women at the park and her life changes for the better. She definitely won’t be lonely anymore, she just needs to learn to open up to the people around her.

I really loved this book especially because of the characters. Missy seemed like such a sweet lady and just needed someone in her life to give her a bit of love. I think the characters really complimented each other as they all had their own stories which worked together. I loved that there was a dog walking community included in the book as it was sooo cute to read about. I found the book so easy to get into the storyline and I just wanted to know more and more about the characters. Angela and Otis were definitely my favourite characters as they just made such a great addition to the book. Otis was such a sweet little boy, and Angela was the perfectly imperfect mother to him. I must also give a special mention to Bob, the dog, who will fill your heart with joy just as she did Missy. I wasn’t too sure what I expected from this book, I had read the first chapter before receiving the book from ReaderFirst, but I didn’t think it was going to be both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.

Thank you ReadersFirst, HarperFiction and Beth Morrey for a copy of the book, I thoroughly enjoyed reading and would love to read another book from Beth Morrey.
