Beth Morrey this had me in tears a book of our times of need and this world around us. What a heartfelt reminder of the affirmative joy of not just being kind to others, but also to yourself…!
I haven’t cried at a book like this in a long time! I loved this story and the interaction of the characters, it was inclusive of the genders and sexuality and nationalities and an eclectic mix of all walks of life.
This book for me was fabulous like The Lido friendship meets The Notebook rolled into DIY SOS! Man this book got me in the feels! I wish I had tissues to hand!
At a time when people are having to isolate this story about loneliness is just so life affirming.
Giving us life lessons on the way. I liked learning new words and phrases I would use this book for a literacy or book club or an English lit discussion for the thought provoking elements.
I didn’t see the twists coming and I would never have guessed the perfect happy ending! This could be made into a movie..! Does anyone else wish they could be befriend Missy Carmichael? I feel like I know her ❤️
