I was eagerly anticipating this book after seeing the stunning hardback cover (I know Never judge a book by its cover) and reading the synopsis.
I read about 100 pages before deciding that I was just too bored to continue with the story.
I found the main character Missy bleak and miserable, I couldn't find anything to like about her and I can't read a book with a character I dislike when they're obviously meant to be the one you do like.
Not only that but I found the plot slow and convoluted.
As we can tell, this book was just not for me and I had to DNF it unfortunately but it is still on my shelves as I can't bring myself to part with such a physically beautiful book.
I may revisit it at some point and see if it grabs me at all but as of right now I would not recommend this book to anybody.
