Overall 'Saving Missy' is a good read, my first impressions I was undecided, now I've completed the book, whilst it is good, for me personally it's a little slow to what I'd prefer.

Missy Carmichael is living alone in a big house, lacking the confidence to mingle and meet new people, as many people can relate to. Until that day she met two very different ladies whilst out for a walk in the park, when her world could gradually start to change, if she'd accept the changes.
It takes you from present day, to different times/letters from past memories. After a falling out with one child, the other living abroad, Missy seems to be living quite a lonely life, which is upsetting to read, even more so as we know there are people out there who are in the same position.
If you enjoyed Eleanor Oilphant I'm sure you'll enjoy this book. For me it's more three and a half stars, a good read but not soo much I can't put it down.
