I was a bit surprised when I realised that the book was centred around a seventy nine years old woman because normally novels that centre around a woman are normally centred around young woman. At first, I didn't really like Missy because of her judgements and her view of life but as the story went on I started liking how she wanted to become someone better. I like how the book is centered around friendship because Missy was lonely. It was great how she finally met some people who accepted her and wanted to become friends with her. It just shows that even if you think there's no one who wants to be your friend then there is someone and it is just that you have just not met them yet. I like how the story is also about accepting your flaws because nobody is perfect and you just have to accpet people for who they are. This book was different and unusual but it was still a great read.
