This book had me immersed from the get go. Missy is a relatable and caring character who is struggling with loneliness but with the support her lovely friends, she embarks on a journey when she least expects it. The bond between Missy and Bob is so heartwarming, I found myself feeling happy for the way Missy’s character blossomed throughout the book.
The friends she develops are completely different to her own personality, but this only helps Missy’s confidence grow even more. The book has left me wanting to know more about Missy and what she will do next. I hope that Beth Morrey will write some more about Missy and her journey!
To summarise this book is a completely relatable, heartwarming read that I would recommend to my friends. It was so easy to pick up and enjoy everyday, I felt that I couldn’t put it down!
